This spring, Walt Disney Studios’ latest cinematic vision, “Maleficent,” will cast its spell at Disney Parks in the form of an exclusive look at one of the summer’s most anticipated films. A thrilling new trailer for “Maleficent” has just been released, and starting April 18, a special extended sneak peek will be playing daily at Disney’s Hollywood Studios in the ABC Sound Studio and at Disney California Adventure park in the naturalistic “underground” setting of the Bug’s Life Theater.
by Jennifer Fickley-Baker, Social Media Manager for Disney Parks Blog Walking through New Fantasyland and watching the evolution of Seven Dwarfs Mine Train has been fascinating, seeing such a large attraction rise up from scaffolding and into a beautiful mountain covered with lush trees and colorful wildflowers. Let’s take a quick photo walk around it today with these shots. Earlier this year, Walt Disney Imagineering shared that two props (Big animatronic Vultures) from the former Snow White’s Scary Adventures attraction had been placed in Seven Dwarfs Mine Train as a nod to the previous attraction. Those vultures can now be seen at the top of the first big “climb” in the attraction, surrounded by stacks of crates – containing newly mined jewels, perhaps?
Anna and Elsa, from Disney’s Academy Award-winning film “Frozen,” will soon move from Epcot to Magic Kingdom Park. Starting April 20, they’ll join some of their fellow Disney Royals at Princess Fairytale Hall, where Disney FastPass+ service will be available for this character greeting experience. Elsa and Anna will appear together each day until the early evening, after which other visiting Disney Princesses will be available to greet guests. Cinderella and Rapunzel will also continue making appearances at Princess Fairytale Hall, and of course, you can see all these favorite characters and more during daily performances of the new “Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade!” Source: Disney Parks Blog by Dallas Thompson As most of you should know by now, Universal Orlando is expanding the Wizarding World of Harry Potter into their Universal Studios Florida park with Diagon Alley. Let's take a look at their plans, or at least what we know so far, and what I consider to be the Top 5 new experiences coming to Diagon Alley.
