BY J.M PARKER Puppies, Puppies Everywhere! Nothing cuter than being completely covered in little four-legged bundles of joy. That's why my favorite movie of all time is 101 Dalmatians. Today I bring you 10 facts of this Disney 1961 Classic that you may not know! 1. There are 6.469.952 black spots in the MovieYes, someone actually counted. It was revealed that Pongo has 72 spots and Perdita has 78 spots and each puppy has 32. Just multiply 3.318 spots for every time they wanted to draw the 101 dalmatians. There was a team of artists whose job was just to draw spots on the dogs! 2. The Original Book is based on a true storyDodie Smith, the author of the original One Hundred and One Dalmatians had 9 Dalmatians himself, one of which was named Pongo. The story occurred to him when a friend of his jokingly mentioned that he could make a nice fur coat with 9 Dalmatians. Smith also got a big surprise when 15 Dalmatian puppies where delivered by one of his dogs!

15 years ago, the Disneyland Resort welcomed its second gate - Disney's California Adventure. Now, 15 years have past, and after a almost-complete remodel project and re-theming, Disney's California Adventure still brings guests to amazing thrills, adventures and emotions. Construction of the park began in 1998, and was completed by early 2001. Disney initially projected high attendance rates at the new park, but a series of preview openings held in January 2001 led to negative reviews, and after the park officially opened to the public on February 8, 2001, the company's attendance projections were never met. Disney spent the next several years incrementally adding new rides, shows, and attractions, and implementing other promotions aimed at boosting attendance. In 2007, Disney announced a major expansion of the park as well as a major overhaul of a significant portion of the park. Construction lasted for five years and was completed in stages, culminating with the opening of Buena Vista Street and Cars Land in June 2012. According to the Themed Entertainment Association, the park hosted approximately 8.7 million guests in 2014, making it the 10th-most visited theme park in the world that year. Happy 15th Birthday!
