One of the monorails on the Magic Kingdom Park/Resorts loop now features the cast of Disney•Pixar’s new movie “Monsters University,” including Mike, Sulley and a host of new characters we’ll meet when it comes to theaters June 21. Last time we saw them on-screen, Mike Wazowski and James P. Sullivan seemed to be an inseparable pair, but that wasn’t always the case. From the moment these two mismatched monsters met they couldn’t stand each other – and that’s the story told in “Monsters University,” which lets us take a fun look back at how Mike and Sulley met and eventually became the best of friends. In case you haven’t seen it Check out the clip below and be sure to look for it in theaters in 3D June 21.

By Tom Parker. With the grand opening of the ride coming in a couple of months, Universal Orlando opened the "Supply Vault" of Transformers - The Ride. This Store covers a really small part of the new giant building, which houses the all new 4D Transformers ride. The store has a Factory theme feeling inside, like a War bunker - same type scenery used on the films. The merchandise is typical Theme Park products, like t-shirts, sweaters, toys, cups and more. What I loved about the store is that there are sections with special merchandise for each character, like Bumblebee and Optimus Prime. Price range goes from 5.99- to 59.99 on products I saw, such a transformers sweater and a nice Bumblebee drink cup. I bet different merchandise will be coming to the store after the ride opens, but for now they have a nice variety. There are few collectible items such as movie props or scale figures of the transformers series. I thought that ENERGON drink was going to be available on this store but when I got in, no sign of that happening soon... And we end this update with Optimus Prime and Bumblebee, both on the side of the New store, I'm pretty sure this will be the transformers location for the meets and greets.
The new store is nice, very detailed and themed, I'm very impressed by how quick they finished this building and I'm so excited for the Grand opening!. Starting this spring, Mickey and Minnie Mouse will invite you into their very own exploration headquarters atDisney’s Animal Kingdom. The all-new Adventurers Outpost on Discovery Island is home base for your globetrotting Disney pals, where they meet friends old and new, as they get ready to set off on their next adventure.
Adventurers Outpost is a gathering place, where explorers might come together to share tales from their expeditions around the world. This new, indoor retreat is the perfect spot for meeting Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Meanwhile, over at Camp Minnie-Mickey, you’ll still be able to run into other Disney friends and catch a performance of the incomparable Festival of the Lion King! |
