Welcome back to Part 2 of the First Time Traveling photo series post about the history of Universal Studios Florida! if you want to check out part 1 click here. On the first part, we covered all the structural changes that the park had to gone through to become what it is today. Now we get to see the attractions changes, where they started and how its now! Lagoon showUniversal Studios Florida's mission was to make guests feel like they were on a movie, so they had an action Lagoon Show that happened twice a day. This show was entirely based on major Universal films, full with action and fire. Through out the years, this show became less and less popular, and Universal decided to stop the action shows and involve in more movie filmmaking. Then the idea came to involve the most famous films and movies with the lagoon show, and that's how the lagoon show became Universal 360: A Cinesphere Spectacular Lagoon show! After the success of the Universal 360: A Cinesphere Spectacular Lagoon Show, Universal began updating its park to a whole new adventures and show, which led to the newest lagoon show for 2012, Universal Cinematic Spectacular: 100 years of movie making. HARD ROCK CAFÉWhile creating Universal Studios Florida, the idea of a Dining Experience was a Most-Do, so as a partnering program with Hard Rock Cafe, the World First Guitar-Shaped Restaurant. The restaurant was famous and then came the Expansion... The restaurant remained open while the construction was going, then on Opening day they decided to keep both restaurants open, until 2000. The restaurant then started a abandoned state, the entrance was covered with trees and Universal never addressed the state of the restaurant, until 2011, when Universal filled the notice of demolishment. BATES MOTELFollowing the design of a Movie Studio Theme Park, a exact copy of the all time favorite thriller movie "Psycho" Bates Motel. The set was part of the Studio Tour and sometimes was used as part of the film set, they filmed part of the psycho sequels and some other shots. Also, as the expansion plan began, the set was demolished for Curious George goes to town Water play ground. -Expect part 3 with more changes and pictures coming soon!-
